      Joanne is the newest member of the team. She has worked within the action sports industry for the last 8 years in PR and event management. Joanne’s carer has seen her manage the BRITS Music Winter Festival in Switzerland for Soulsports, and she has worked with clients such as Orange, Red Bull, Garmin, DC, and O’Neil. After several years at Soulsports Joanne moved to focus on Public Relations as a Senior Account Manager for London based agency Canoe. She was responsible for running multiple accounts including Columbia, Burton, Volcom, SealSkinz and Crocs.

      With a strong track record in running a busy press office, managing multiple platform PR campaigns, press trips, product launches and events. Joanne brings a wealth of expertise to Murray Media as Project Manager.

      meadowlands festival returns

      The Meadowlands Festival returns this summer from the 1st – 3rd June 2012 to the beautiful countryside of Glynde, East Sussex, for a weekend of great music, comedy, and family fun.

      Set in the idyllic grounds of an Elizabethan manor house, just 10 minutes outside of Brighton, the festival which is now in its 4th year has become a permanent feature in the UK festival calendar. This year’s event will see over 80 bands, four stages, six club nights, spoken word & comedy, a charity casino, woodland area, luxury loo’s and showers, glamping and even entertainment and workshops for the kids.

      worthing dome centenary celebrates with beautiful new book

      The iconic and highly regarded Worthing Dome, West Sussex, is celebrating one hundred years by publishing a scrapbook-styled book depicting the Dome’s rich history between 1911 to the present day.  The mastermind behind the creation, entitled ‘The Worthing Dome Centenary Scrapbook 1911-2011,’ is none other than Chair of Worthing Dome and Regeneration Trust Belle Stennett.

      The release is set to take place at the new Visitor Information Centre in the Dome on the 10th December 2011 from 4pm-6pm. From 6.30pm, a Centenary Champagne Gala will be held at the Dome where guests will be treated to a live orchestra provided by world-renowned pianist, Neil Brand and the Prima Vista Social Club Orchestra put to silent comedy-classic ‘Safety Last’ starring Harold Lloyd.

      During the Champagne Gala, guests will have the opportunity to bid on two signed copies of the book which will include a personal message written by none other than television personality Jonathon Ross, who has already expressed his own joy at the book being published.

      The Eco Technology Show 2012 (ETS) kicked off proceedings on the 11th November with a launch attended by Caroline Lucas MP, Leader of the Green Party. Influential members of the green community including architects, developers, builders, utility providers, car manufacturers, academics and eco-enthusiasts all gathered to learn more about the exciting event set to fill the American Express Community Stadium in Brighton, on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th June 2012.The atmosphere at the launch event was charged with excitement and interest as attendees filled the venue to hear Caroline Lucas MP speak about the show: “I am delighted that ETS has chosen Brighton as its venue. I cannot imagine a more-appropriate city to hold such an important event. It is a brilliant opportunity to showcase green-behaviour and there is much fun to be had for consumers. Hyde Housing, who are founder sponsors of the ETS event and sole sponsors of the Home & Building zones of the show as well as BohoGreen, who are sole sponsor of the  electric vehicle demonstration track are delighted to be working closely with the show.

      brighton wheel gets the green light

      The developers of the Brighton Wheel have been given the go ahead to start work on erecting the breathtaking structure which will be situated on Marine Drive, East of the palace pier in Brighton. Permission has been granted for paramount attractions – Murray Media’s newest recruit, to start work on getting the wheel up in time for the autumn deadline. Bill Murray explains “I am delighted that we can move forward with this very exciting project. I am looking forward to seeing the Wheel up and benefiting Brighton.” The £6million project will provide panoramic views of Brighton and is expected to accommodate 250,000 people and give Brighton an economic lift.

      new website, new logo, new beginnings...

      Murray Media is extremely excited see the launch of a brand new website and a bespoke logo to mark the beginning of a fresh new look. With help from Ruth Watson and Francesca Swatton from Osomi; designing the website and Tom Scrace from Pragamatic Effects designing the logo, Murray media are thrilled to welcome these new additions to the company. James Fitzgerald, who oversaw the project, says: “I’m incredibly proud to be involved in this project. The new website is clean, fresh and is easy to navigate around and will mean it will be easier to connect with clients and perspective clients. The website also has new features such as a QR facility which connects users to our latest news from their smart phone, anywhere in the world.”
